this is a picture I have had in my mind for a long time. Painted in 4 evenings roughly. It started out as a sketch and I had myself to look at for the pose and face. crits are welcome and interpretations are more than welcome

Nice work. As usual, I'm a fan of how you use lightning and color in your paintings. With that said, there are some slight proportional mistakes. The head is a bit large, as are the hands, but it's not too distracting.

I am glad I am not a teenager anymore because then I would be devastated. god created me with some proportional mistakes. I even made the head smaller than in real life

Really nice. You have a really soft painting style. It really helps sell the underwater effect. The colors are really nice well chosen.

i don't think the head is too big. 1/3 of the shoulders and 1/8th of the whole body no? maybe one forearm is longer than the other? but maybe it's the angling of the shoulders/arm positions. oh well, i'm almost certain that one of my legs is longer than the other. i think the anatomy is really really really good. love the light hitting the body - really brings out the water. great!

From a photographer's perspective I would have liked a little more space above the head and the hand near the foreground border.

Maybe this would have looked better in a portrait format instead?
